This 4 day Kenya safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru includes visits to the following Kenya wildlife parks: Masai Mara National Reserve is well-known for its lion, leopard, and cheetah populations, as well as the seasonal migration of zebra and wildebeest from Tanzania’s Serengeti. Lake Nakuru National Park, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley, has an elevation of 1754 meters above sea level and is known for the presence of the big five, with the exception of elephants and a bird sanctuary (flamingos). This is the only park where you are guaranteed to see both black and white rhinos.

Itinerary
On the specified date at 7:00 am Nairobi, Masai Mara transfers with stop over at the Rift Valley viewpoint to view the escarpment and take photos then proceed to the floor of the Great Rift Valley passing through Narok, a small Masai town known for the most beautiful curios ever. Arriving in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game viewing to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park until 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi eco camp or similar facility.
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best game park in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close range viewing and photography. It is home to all wildlife that are native to East Africa, which includes Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalos, rhinos, giraffes, Wildebeest, and many others. July, August and September are the best months to visit the park, as it is full of migrating Wildebeest and Zebras. At noon, break for picnic lunch. After lunch drive to the Mara River looking out for hippos and crocodiles, if you are lucky you might witness the crossing, from here continue with game viewing until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast, go for a Masai village tour, to learn Masai people's way of life and take photos with Masai worriers. After that return to the Camp check out and start your journey to Lake Nakuru, passing through Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and other optional activities. After Lake Naivasha, proceed with the journey to Nakuru arriving late in the evening check in at Buraha Zenini Hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park which sits squarely on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and is surrounded by characteristic woody and bushy grassland, her sky-mirrored lake water extends to an expansive mass of semi-alkaline water, which is rich in green algae. The algae attracts a huge number of pink flamingos giving it the name birds paradise. It is also a sanctuary for the endangered Rhino species with over 100 rhinos residing here, other animals are Buffaloes, Hippos, Waterbuck, Impalas, Baboons, Zebras, Warthogs, and many more. Lake Nakuru is not a big park and within 4 hours, you shall have seen enough. Later leave the park with lunch en route and start your journey to Nairobi City, arriving late in the evening.
